Privacy

mikegrebb.com is the official website of the musician Mike Grebb. It is run by MBG Creative Services LLC (“we”). This page explains what information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. Questions go to mikegrebbmusic@gmail.com.

The short version

• No advertising trackers, no tracking cookies, no selling or sharing your information.
• If you join the mailing list, we keep your email address (and ZIP code, if you add it) to send you Mike’s music news.
• If you write through the contact form, your message goes to Mike so he can reply.

What we collect and why

Mailing list. Your email address, your ZIP code if you add one (for show alerts near you), and the date and network address of your sign-up and confirmation, which record your consent. You join only after clicking the link in our confirmation email. We use this only to email you about Mike’s music, about twice a month. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

Contact form. Your name, email address and message, delivered to Mike’s inbox so he can answer you.

Purchases. When you buy a download on this site, our payment processor, Stripe, handles your card. We receive your name, email address and what you bought, never your full card number, and use them to deliver your download, send receipts, handle refunds and keep tax records.

Visit statistics. Our host’s analytics counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. Before a visit is counted, the page address is stripped of everything except standard campaign tags (utm_…).

Technical logs. Like every website, our host keeps short-lived technical logs (such as network address and browser type) to run and protect the site.

Music players

The site doesn’t load any player until you click Play. When you do, Spotify’s player loads from Spotify, and Spotify’s own privacy policy applies to that player. Links to other sites (Apple Music, Bandcamp, YouTube and so on) take you to services with their own policies.

Who helps us

• Vercel: hosts the site and counts visits.
• MailerLite: stores the mailing list and sends the newsletter.
• Resend: delivers contact-form messages and order emails.
• Stripe: processes payments.

They handle your information only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

Mailing-list details stay until you unsubscribe; after that we keep only what’s needed to make sure you aren’t emailed again. Contact messages are kept as long as the conversation needs. Purchase records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe at any time from any email. You can also ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing mikegrebbmusic@gmail.com. We will not treat you differently for asking. Because we don’t track you across other sites or sell or share your information, there is nothing to opt out of, and we treat browser “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals accordingly.

Children

This site isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
